Solvents

Naphtha

Naphtha for solvent blending and petrochemical feedstock.

What is Naphtha?

Naphtha supplied by Synergysol Trading is a light petroleum cut for solvent blending and petrochemical feedstock. Specific gravity at 15°C is 0.713. The initial boiling point is 44°C, 50% distills at 96°C, and the final boiling point is 190°C.

Sulfur is 800 ppm. Mercaptan sulfur is 10 ppm. Recovery is 99%. White spirit is the heavier solvent used in paints and cleaning, with a flash point of 38–42°C, and is supplied separately.

Applications

Synergysol Trading supplies naphtha against this distillation range for solvent blenders and petrochemical buyers.

Solvent blending. Solvent manufacturers use naphtha as the light cut boiling from 44°C to 190°C.

Petrochemical feedstock. Chemical plants take naphtha at specific gravity 0.713 and sulfur 800 ppm.

Industrial solvent uses. Processes that name a naphtha cut, rather than white spirit, order this grade.

Recovery. Recovery on this grade is 99%, with mercaptan sulfur at 10 ppm.
