Group II
Base Oil Group II N230
Mid-viscosity Group II base oil for engine oils and industrial lubricants.
What is Base Oil Group II N230?
Base oil N230 is a mid-viscosity Group II base oil supplied by Synergysol Trading. It fills the band between N150 and N500 for engine oils, gear oils, and industrial circulating oils built on a hydroprocessed neutral.
Group I SN-350 is the solvent-refined base oil in the middle of that ladder. Buyers name Group II base oil N230 when the additive system is written for Group II. Group III 6 cSt is the higher-viscosity-index grade in the same part of the range.
Applications
Synergysol Trading supplies Group II base oil N230 for mid-viscosity lubricants that specify a hydroprocessed neutral.
Passenger-car and diesel engine oils. Mid-viscosity engine-oil formulas use N230 between the lighter N150 and the heavier N500.
Gear and transmission oils. Gear oils in this band name N230 when the base oil has to be Group II.
Industrial circulating oils. Circulating systems with a mid-range viscosity target are blended on N230.
Heavier hydraulic oils. Hydraulic fluids at the top of the industrial range use this mid Group II grade.
